The Yellowjackets have been at the forefront of jazz since the early 1980s. Their music continues to evolve from their Rhythm & Blues roots into a style that has become increasingly versatile and adventurous with the passage of time.
Bob Mintzer joined the band in 1991 and is a Grammy-winning composer and arranger whose works for big bands continue to forge an original path within the jazz tradition and is a featured soloist of consummate improvising talents.
