(b: 1996) Liam Shortall is a trombonist and music producer from Dumfries. After graduating from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2017, Liam continues to work alongside many great projects and musicians from Scotland and beyond. He has collaborated with many renowned artists, including Soweto Kinch, Alfa Mist, Joesef, Tom McGuire & The Brassholes, Graham Costello and many more. Liam’s debut project, corto.alto, won both “Best Album” and “Best Band” in the 2020 Scottish Jazz Awards.
