(b:1974) Tom MacNiven was born in Glasgow and began playing music at age 8. As well as recording an album with the legendary Bobby Wellins in 1997, Tom is a much-in-demand session player and has recorded with a variety of musicians, including Silicone Soul, The DT6, Sharleen Spiteri and Eddi Reader. His live work encompasses acts including Anton and Erin, Niki King, Hue & Cry, Tam White & Boz Burrel and Josh Groban.
